How To Make A Killing Review

Have you ever wondered w hat happens when you are the disowned grandson of a dynasty worth billions? How To Make A Killing , directed by John Patton Ford, explores this exact question. From the early trailers it was clear How to Make a Killing was going to be unique, particularly in terms of genre. The film is a fantastic combination of thriller and comedy. This hybrid genre makes How to Make a Killing appealing to a wide variety of audiences, it's not too dark nor is it too comedic it is a perfect balance between the two. But is it a thrilling ride or does it fall flat? Read on for my full review. Glen Powell is at his most charming as he takes on the lead role: Becket Redfellow. Powell's charisma oozes on screen, in what might be one of his best performances. The film starts when Beckets mother Mary (Nell Williams) falls pregnant at age sixteen, is disowned by her father Whitelaw (Ed Harris) and leaves behind her privileged lifestyle rising Becket as a single mothe...

Hercules Live Action Casting

Hey everyone, I hope you are well and not getting too bored at home. Yesterday it was officially confirmed that a live action adaptation of the 1997 animated film Hercules was in the works at Disney. It was also confirmed that the Russo brothers have signed on to produce and Dave Callaham  has signed on to write. Hercules was one of my favourite films as a child and I'm soooooo excited. So, I thought I would share my casting choices with you. I hope you like my choices. Make sure you let me know in the comments below who you would love to see in the classic Hercules roles.

Hercules

So I haven't cast a young and grown up Hercules because lets face it CGI can take care of that without needing two actors. My Casting options for Hercules are Liam Hemsworth (Chris seems to obvious), Matt Bomer and Armie Hammer. I think all three would be great choices to play Hercules.

Megara

Megara is one of the sassiest Disney characters and the actress that plays her will have to channel that. My choices are Natalie Portman, Gal Gadot and Ariana Grande. Grande proved she could take on the role during Disney's recent family sing-a-long and Gadot and Portman are fabulous actresses that I could see playing Meg.

Phil

I will not even watch the re-make if Danny DeVito is not playing Phil. I honestly could not imagine anyone else in this role.

Hades

My favourite Disney villain of all time is Hades, he is sassy, evil and has amazing hair. My casting choices for Hades are: Tom Hiddleston, Wes Bentley and John Stamos. I think all of these actors will be able to bring Sassy Hades to life - after all, all of these actors have played sassy/villainous characters in the past.

Zeus

Zeus whilst not the main character of the film is still a huge role. Whoever plays Zeus will have to be able to take on commanding role. My casting choices are: Kurt Russel, Hugh Jackman and Pierce Brosnan. All three are Hollywood legends and I could see them all taking on the role of Zeus and owning it.

Hera

The Wife of Zeus and the mother of Hercules, Hera had a small role in the animated film, but I think she'll have a bigger role in the live action. My casting choices for Hera are: Jenifer Aniston, Michelle Pfeiffer and Rita Wilson. I've picked three very different actresses but I think all three would be perfect in the role.

Pain and Panic

Pain and Panic are brilliant and it's very important that whoever play's these two have great comedic chemistry. My Casting choices are Rose Byrne and Kristen Wiig or Ryan Reynolds and Jake Gyllenhaal. Both pairs are hilarious and would be great in the roles of Panic and Pain.

The Muses

Okay so I have a lot of suggestions for The Muses, I think it's fair to say that whoever gets these roles will have to be a fantatsic singer. My casting suggestions are: Destiny's Child, Doja Cat, Lizzo, SZA and of course Jennifer Hudson.

So, thats my list of who could play who in the Hercules Live action. I really hope you like my suggestions, of course we have no idea who Disney will cast but it is fun to speculate. I am so excited for this film, just think of the merch Disney could release? I mean I want the Hercules sandals and a Hercules cup for sure. I hope you enjoyed this post and in the meantime why not give Hercules a re-watch? You can buy it here on Amazon: CLICK HERE or watch on NowTV.
