Sense and Sensibility Review

      The works of Jane Austin are no strangers to film or TV  adaptations. Tales such as Pride and Prejudice have been remade so many times, it can be easy to lose count and whilst they all differ there is a certain charm that every Austin adaption has. Sense and Sensibility whilst being Austin's debut novel is perhaps not the first on everyone's mind when you mention Austin, yet it's still had its fair share of adaptions, with three TV versions and now three films. With director Georgia Oakley's version currently showing in cinemas. With Working Titles Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner producing I had high hopes, after all they are the producing Duo behind the best Austin adaptation, Pride and Prejudice directed by Joe Wright and starring Keira Knightly which released in 2005. Christmas Movie List

Hi!! Christmas is my favourite time of year, I love the awful jumpers, baking cookies, snuggling in the warm with hot chocolate, but most of all I love the movies. I would watch Christmas films all year around if I could (I may have watched Christmas films on occasions after nights out back when I was at university... but shhhh don't tell). With December less than a week away I decided to make a Christmas Movie Watchlist. The list is made up of 24 films for 24 days - it's sort of like a Christmas advent calendar but with films! Brilliant right? I haven't numbered the films that way you can watch them in whatever order you like. The list is made up of my favourites, some have been favourites since I was a child, some are films that have come out this year, but I love them all.
