Dune: Part Two Review

Chaotic review incoming! Wow, it’s been a WHILE since I reviewed a movie, but I’ve come out of hibernation to review the much anticipated Dune: Part Two. My initial impression of Dune: Part One was: ‘for a movie that is mainly standing around, it’s a masterpiece.’ Despite my lack of experience with the source material, and my lack of reason for loving the first, I knew I had to see the second instalment on opening night. Which is exactly what I did! I’m glad I did because Dune: Part Two is categorically better than the first! Read on for my full review, potential mild spoilers with a dose of chaos! Enjoy!   Dune: Part Two picks us where the previous finished, Denis Villeneuve giving us one  continuous story, no flashbacks or memory trickers included. Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin and Javier Bardem are joined by Florence Pugh, Austin Butler, Léa Seydoux, Christopher Walken and Anya Taylor-Joy, the perfect all-star cast. The films stands at the 2h 45m mark, ye

WandaVision Trailer Reaction

Marvel fans we finally have some new content! We've had a year of setbacks and for the first time in over ten years we might not get to see a Marvel movie at the cinema. It has been a very empty year for us! But we finally have a WandaVision trailer and a 2020 release date. I am so excited for this show, which will be available to stream on Disney Plus later this year. Wanda has been one of my favourite characters and I have my heart set on her having a villain arch in the MCU.  There is a lot to unpack in the trailer so I thought I would do one of my trailers reactions. Watch the trailer below and read on to see my reaction! I would love to know what you thought of the trailer so please leave a comment below.
  • So, it looks like at least some of the show will be in black and white.
  • I love the old timey music.
  • Our first glimpse of Vision, it looks like he will be in both forms throughout the show.
  • Wanda wants them to fit in. She wants them to be normal, which is not surprising considering everything she has been through and lost.
  • Although Wanda as a 1940's housewife is giving me the creeps.
  • Wanda's magic looks a little different here.
  • The sit-com vibe is real, and so different to anything we have seen in the MCU so far.
  • There are some clear cracks in what Wanda has created. It seems like her powers have expended exponentially to the point where she has created a small 'pocket' universe where her version of the perfect simple life can exist. But it seems like things may not always run smoothly. I wonder what effect this will have on reality.
  • Okay so the twins! The twins exist in this reality, which is cute but to what extent are they real, do they just exist in this reality? They could be more for Wanda to lose.
  • So, it looks like Vision (the one created or revived by Wanda) has left the 'pocket' universe. It is very interesting that he has the infinity stone in his head. Clearly the reality Wanda has created can be crossed over with reality.
  • Rumour has it that Agnes is possibly Agatha Harkness, a powerful witch. This is a very interesting theory and it could be cool to see Wanda face another witch.
  • Loving the vintage Wanda and Vision costumes! If only we could do Halloween this year!
  • It looks like whenever Wanda doesn't like something she simply uses her magic to change things.
  • Okay okay okay, thats the child from Captain Marvel! Monic Rambeau is all grown up and seemingly caught up in Wanda's reality bending. I cannot wait for this!
  • These shots of helicopters and flood lighting remind me of the S.H.I.E.L.D days! These shots make me think Wanda could be in some big trouble.
  • 'We are an unusual couple' I think this is going to be an unusual show.

This trailer looks so good! I feel like we have barely seen anything and yet seen so much. I think this show is going to be mind bending and full of hidden hints. I am a little worried that WandaVision is the first MCU show to release on Disney Plus as Falcon and Winter Solider was meant to be first. But honestly this is the show I have been most looking forward to and this trailer does not disappoint! This looks like it might be the perfect lead into Dr. Strange and the Multi-verse of Madness! I am still waiting for Wanda to bring her brother back to life - just imagine if that happens in this show!! Ahhh I cannot wait!

Thank you for reading! Please let me know what you think in the comments below xx
